Heard It In The Playground



I found a video of a flashy school in London using this poem by Alan Ahlberg. I thought it was crying out to be Pt.England-ised, so we talked as a class about what they say in the playground and I talked to some other teachers about what they hear. So using that, we re-wrote the poem.

It was fun to film but a bit tricky dealing with the Pt.England Reserve wind. I was happy that it gave everyone a chance to participate. I hope enjoy it.

    Hi Mr Blakey and Room 14 I really enjoyed watching your movie so much that I didn't watch it once..not even twice..but I watched it so many times that I lost count..
    You are all so very amazing and I hear a lot of things while I'm out there in the playground too so this was for sure one of my favourites. Keep up the great work!
